Have you thought about hosting your project on Github or Bitbucket, and releasing your source code with a less restrictive license (such as GPLv3 or similar)? If your project is open source, you can have more contributors assist you in improving features and applying bug fixes, which could help speed the project's development cycle, and perhaps get more attention. What are your thoughts about this?
Yes, I have. I even got a github account setup and was looking around. I thought it was pretty cool that Corruption of Champions did this, and it has worked well for Fenoxo it seems.
DeleteI may not pull the trigger on this until I get POW a bit more fleshed out, though. It's still undergoing drastic core changes to make itself open up to the standard features I want. I think eventually, development will mostly be adding content instead of structure/code/feature development, and that would be a better time to release the source.

ReplyDeleteI remember someone complaining about the fact that the trainer was on the left side instead of the middle and you responded by saying you did not know what to do with the left side if it was centered. I have a suggestion of following the idea of the sleeping Pokémon after you switch, but instead of having a second sleeping being replaced taking its place and having number 3 in the riding position. I realize that means more work, but I hope you give it some thought.

Sorry! Right now you have the first Pokémon chosen mounted. Then when you change Pokémon, the first Pokémon is now sleeping on the right. My suggestion was if you center the Pokémon trainer, you fill the left side with Pokémon number 1 masturbating after Pokémon number 2 would normally replace it on right side. Example: 1.Flareon chosen. 2.Glaceon chosen, Flareon moves to sleeping position on right, 3.Sylveon chosen, Flareon moves to right side masturbating, Glaceon now in sleeping position. 4.Flareon chosen again, Glaceon moves right to masturbating position, Sylveon moves to sleeping position. Hope this helped clarify.

That's why I think it's important to say that you do an amazing job and I hope to see more of it in the future.

Glad to see this is still going strong, you've done a good job and cover a niche that isn't worked with enough. Human on feral can be nice to begin with, but the PoV, expressions, and the text all help make it sweeter. The current vulpines are great(always love some eevees), and I look forward to the upcoming felines.
ReplyDeleteOn that note, I notice you've gone for some canid pussies so far, befitting the feral style, were you intending to also make the upcoming feline pokemon accurate to their own anatomy, or just go with the same style?
Also, on the text, I haven't gotten around to trying modifying the text, but the idea is really neat to me, are there plans for other customizable features like that?
Lastly, I noticed your comments on being a fan of Meinshao, she's one of my favorites too, not only a good bipedal pokemon but one of the few fighting types that doesn't look bulky, so if you're planning to add her I'll be looking forward to it. If you do other bipedal pokemon, would Braixen be one that might have a shot? I imagine she'd be able to share animations with similar small bipeds, such as Riolu, Kirlia, or Meowstic. Not meant to be a suggestion, as I know you've got your patrons for that, more just curious if you had that one in mind or not already.

DeleteI love anatomically correct females, and intend to stay the course. The felines are bit tricky to get right though. Felines pussies basically just look like a rounded, simplistic version of a human's, but transitioned into a simple vector graphic style, it might just look like a cartoonish human's. Ah well...
v4 is a bit more moddable, as hinted by the re-worded config column on the title page. You can swap out the dialog (dialog.xml), the pokedex/behavior file (pokemon.xml), and the file which determines the sex sequence (plans.xml).
Meinshao is great. I was about to work on her but then I realized how complicated she is because of the ribbon-like body parts. I shy away from taking that on casually because flowing, ribbon-like body appendages are really complicated to animate. I'll need to set aside a good chunk of time for her. Blax is a maybe :)

DeleteWhen I try to download the swf, all that pops up is a white screen and it says "movie not loaded." I am not sure if it is dropbox not not. The older swf works. Was anything changed to the new swf? I unfortunately cannot update my flash due to an old operating system.

I downloaded the recent XML on your "modding" tab and used it on both 4.0.25 and 4.0.27 but I cannot get it to work on anything past 3.2.28.

ReplyDeleteSound effects are difficult, as they're more likely to detract from the experience than help it unless you pretty much get it perfect. Much respect for other flash games that have a lot of good sound effects.
DeleteThe panting was something I been meaning to do for awhile now, though.
I might be able to find you some sound fx for the game, similar to those in jasonafex's animations, if you like how those sound that is.

Most of his have good sounds. A few are a bit unsettling though, lol.
DeleteYeah, I'm interested. The filesize and format don't really matter. It all gets converted in the end. I usually prefer working with raw .wav, so it doesn't get double compressed.
Okay, so I know that anal is in the plans for the future, but on the roadmap it shows that it will only be for missionary which is limited to Llepard, absol, and delcatty. I was wondering if maybe perhaps you could extend the option to the eveelutions too. mmmm some umbreon booty would be the best, man.

ReplyDeleteHow the fuck do i download this? When i hit "Download to Dropbox" it opens up a new web browser and i can play it from there but i cant download it. Help please?
ReplyDeleteIf you right click the download to dropbox link, click "save link as" or "save target as".
DeleteOr you can just click it and view the flash in the browser like normal, and then click your browser's menu button. There should be a "save page" menu item. That's what I usually do.
It's still a .swf file and i cant play without an internet browser :/. You should try working on making it a .exe file so we can play it offline without a browser :D. But still, thank you very much, i wish u best of luck, and NEVER GIVE UP ON THIS, your work is highly appriciated :).

If you play a .swf in an internet browser, and that .swf is saved locally to your computer, it doesn't matter if you're online or not. I do it all the time ;)

ReplyDeleteAll the betas have different music? v4 has a different sex-scene song than v3.x, that's it. I never intended nor wanted to keep that old music because it was from Huniepop.

i think you should add ponyta for a horse type. I personally would prefer Girafarig but im sure ponyta would be more popular.
and just for varietys sake id also like to suggest furret, sharpedo, dewgong, seeking, and mareep.
i also think cherubi would be hilarious for showcase mode.

Not seen anyone else curious about this, but hey may as well check, an either way ideas an suggestions. Options to customize the player themselves, race, sex, possibly be a pokemon too, genitalia types, etc.
