I have opened some additional channels of donation for those who would like an alternative to Patreon: Paypal and Bitcoin. For those of you who would like to leave a tip, but not interested in the pledge rewards (or are tipping beyond the $5 tier), this may be a more ideal solution, as the overhead fees are substantially reduced.
In any case, thanks again for your generosity!
In POW news, there should be an intermediate beta build coming out in the next few days fixing a ton of bugs that you guys have been reporting to me :)
Are you loosing a bunch of my pledge to patreon?
ReplyDeleteIf you are just pm me or something and I'll move it to paypal transfer.
I don't have any way of knowing the details on a per-person-level. I could only calculate the sum totals across everyone, and for this last batch it was 11.9%.
DeleteI'm not twisting anyone's arm to make any changes, though, it's up to you. The main reason I set this up was because there are a growing number of people who would just like a one-and-done donation and not get tied up with an ongoing system.
I would appreciate using a more efficient service, yes, but as I said it's your call :)
You might also consider reducing your pledge to $5, so you can still vote, and if there's anything extra, use paypal.
Perhaps I can find a way to include paypal users on the monthly poll if there's enough interest in it.
Btw I remember you were interested in the $300 milestone I had on my Patreon page. Just a followup on that, I've begun reaching out to artists about that.
Deletei have noticed that one you get "in-game" you cant leave to get back to showcase mode, with out refreshing/reloading the flash
ReplyDeleteYeah, you would think Flash would have an easy way to restart itself...but nope. Making a complicated flash go back is tricky. It's doable, I just haven't prioritized it yet.
